Sentence: 你好吗?

Your first complete Chinese sentence. 你 好 吗? literally means "you good?" — i.e. "How are you?" / "Are you well?"

Pinyin: nǐ hǎo ma?
Word-by-word: you (你) · good (好) · ?-particle (吗)

Recall from Asking Questions that 吗 turns a statement into a yes/no question. Write all three characters in order to spell the sentence out.

How this works: first watch the stroke order. Then click Try writing, and draw each stroke with your mouse. Wrong order or wrong shape is flagged in red and you have to redo that stroke. After three misses on the same stroke, a faint hint appears.
