Practice: Basic Strokes

Use your mouse (or finger on a touchscreen) to copy each stroke on the canvas. Match the direction and proportion shown in the example.

Click Show example to overlay the target, Clear to start over, and Next to advance. There are no automatic checks — judge your own work, then mark it done.

How this works: first watch the stroke order. Then click Try writing, and draw each stroke with your mouse. Wrong order or wrong shape is flagged in red and you have to redo that stroke. After three misses on the same stroke, a faint hint appears.
